A would-be National Chairman has launched a secret meeting club to raise cash for his campaign, London Spin can reveal. The candidate – who has so far failed to declare his interest publicly – is organising weekly ‘sessions’ to drum up much needed dough to fund the campaign. Each week a key speaker from across the country is set to attend the events to encourage the membership to grow. Punters are said to be charged around £30 per head in the lavish surroundings and asked to enjoy live music along with posh cheese.
One insider told this paper, “politics costs money and that’s that.”
