Bow Group Facing Legal Action After an ENTIRE SLATE is Disqualified

TROUBLED think tank, The Bow Group was last night in meltdown after an entire slate of candidates from the Bow Future team were told they had been disqualified from the election race – five minutes before the ballots were counted. According to witnesses, the trouble began when former national chairman of Conservative Future Michael Rock told Bow Future candidate Patrick Sullivan that he was not allowed into the venue, as he was not a member of the group. This triggered a furious debate. Whatever the truth of the matter, as proposer and seconder of the rest of the Bow Future members – Sullivan’s endorsements were labelled invalid, thus disqualifying every member of his own team. The news triggered a furious row via social networking site Facebook and across channels such as Twitter. A rogue email threatened legal action which could destroy the group's last savings, said to be in the region of £8K.

This morning, another email claiming to be from newly elected Chairman Ben Harris-Quinney was circulating amongst bloggers - it called on members to donate generously to fight the legal action. This newspaper has investigated and found this email to be a fake.

That's, er, curious, why could he not pay the few quid for membership? Does he have a valid Conservative party membership?
