I didn't realise that the national exec were so out of touch and patronising to think that additional "training, support and guidance for Conservative women activists" was necessary. Surely they are as capable of success as anyone without this Harriet Harman-esque nonesense!

I think it's a great idea as I was put off joining my CF branch whilst at uni because of all of the fat, spotty, prepubescent boys who only debated with each other whilst the 'women' only went to the socials rather than the debates. They always used to call us 'skirt' and after a few socials I left and joined the debating society instead.

I hope that it encourages women to put their names forward for positions as 'us girls' have a lot to offer the party.

I'm sure Jon is 150% qualified to talk about women in politics as a 20+ year old virgin
